Phone Spazzing

My phone took a halfway plunge into a cup of water. Now it's spazzing out, opening google search and turning up the volume to full whenever it wants. Is there anything you guys could suggest to fix this problem? Much appreciated. I don't have asurion or anything like that.

take the battery out, dry what you can can by hand and let it dry on its own for a bit... then try again... i fell in a creek with mine in pocket and i just let it sit for a few minutes and it worked fine again.

Happened to my env touch, I did as above pulled the battery and then used a vacuum to try to get more moisture out of it then , this might sound odd, put it in a ziplock bag of uncooked rice which acted as a desiccant to remove any remaining moisture. But the really big thing is get it out of water quickly and pull the battery.
