Phone Storage Space is getting low....

Hi, hoping someone could offer some advice?

I've seen several threads with similar problems, but none seem to answer my specific question....

I have a Wildfire, approx 3 months old. I have two low storage space icons at the top of the screen.

I cleared caches, deleted apps, deleted contacts, photos, messages, emails etc. Plus I cannot update my current apps.

My SD card states total space:1.84GB, available space 0.94GB, yet I have nothing saved to it??

My internal phone storage space states 756KB (this has fluctuated between 22MB to this in approx 24 hours)

Contacts Storage 66.64MB
HTC.Socialnetwork 24.80MB
Maps 10.43MB
WhatsAPP 7.35MB
Facebook 5.71MB
Liveprofile 3.94MB
Market 3.36MB
GMail 1.98MB
YouTube 1.25MB
Battery Widget 700KB

With the exception of the pre-installed apps, which cannot be deleted, these are the only apps I have managed to retain because I need them, and I've deleted everything else.

Today, when I've turned the phone on, the keyboard is permanently open on the screen, even when on the home screen. The only thing that types, regardless of which app I use, or which letter I press, is a 'q'.

Can anyone help please?

66 MB of Contacts Storage seems an awful lot to me. Just howmany contacts do you have? It must be thousands and thousands!!

66MB just for contacts is too much. I guess you have synced all your google and FB contacts also, and also storing many details for each contacts like icons, mail ids, birth dates and so on.
My contacts takes up just 6MB of space and i have around 250 contacts in my phone.
