Help Phone storage space is getting low?

Phone storage space is getting low. Just got the phone recently have have added some apps. Should I move most of the apps to the SD card (2GB) which I plan to change to 8GB? The phone is not activated yet so there are no text messages hanging around.

Also ... an aside question ... I placed the app Speaktoit Assistant on the phone and started it yesterday. Today, I do not see it under apps on the phone or on the SD card. What gives?

Move the apps that can be moved to the card, yes. And clean your caches. If you downloaded apps (how many is "some" BTW?) your market cache is probably huge.

Please advise how to clan the caches. Thank you. Still new to the android phone. Some apps would be about 20.

You can get an app like App2SD, or a cache cleaner and they will help you clean your caches. You can also hit the menu button, the touch settings and then applications. If you go into each application there you can clear their cache, there will be a button to clear it.

Some, if not all, of them will have a button to clear data. Doing so will clear save games and/or login info saved as well as other stuff you may not want to clear.
