Help Phone stuck at update screen. Help!

So I decided to update my tmobile G2x phone to gingerbread through the lg updater tool, and i plugged it in and everything was going alright. Right when the updating on my phone started the cord accidently came unplugged, and i tried to restart the update. Now everytime i try to restart the update it just says it has bad connection between the computer and phone. The phone is stuck at the "S/W Upgrade, Please wait while upgrading" screen and i dont know how to get out of it. Can anyone help?

i would say holding down the power button and Vol. down to reset the phone you will probably lose all your apps/contacts/data etc

You'll have to pull the battery to get out of it.
