Okay, so I got a call from my buddy. Apparently he is stuck in a boot loop on his phone while trying to revert back to a previous ROM through ROM Manager. He is now stuck in a boot loop and is not able to get his phone to boot up. Unfortunately he is not able to get to his recovery screen without getting his phone booted up since the only way he has ever been able to get there is through ROM Manager. Holding down the power and volume buttons has never worked.
I am pretty experienced with verizon's devices and I know the "ins and outs" of getting out of sticky situations on most devices. What I am wondering: Is there a way to flash a recovery img back to his device through the SDK? If so can someone point me in the direction of the needed files for the captivate?
Any other ideas/advice would be nice as well.
