Help Phone stuck on "Contacting network ..." after activation

New EVO 3D - looks like the online activation worked

- got the activation complete message, PRL updated, but phone is has been stuck on the "Hands Free Activation Contacting network ..." message. with the spinning wheel.

Any idea what is needed?
 
I had the same problem with the hands free activation. It would never contact the network...even after waiting 10 minutes.

I cancelled the hands free activation and ran the Sprint Zone app from the app drawer. I went through the manual activation steps in there and it worked perfectly.

Thanks all.

I just gave "Cancel" a try and it seems like all is well. So, who knows? I guess for any others that find this thread - if you get in this position, try cancel and if the phone doesn't work, call Sprint. :)
 
what i did first was go to my account page and swap ESNs. THEN after that was successful, i THEN turned on the 3D and it connected and went thru those steps without a hitch.
