Help Phone switches itself to Vibrate at 8pm every night??

Why does it do that? I have an alarm set for 8pm and it happens after this but it doesnt happen at other alarms?? Can anyone help.

If you are on Jelly Bean than Blocking Mode under Settings would most probably be the culprit.

Do you have a location profile app called Llama installed ? It does that out of the box.

Some 'dock' apps have this ability too. In 'Dock Clock' you can have it vibrate when connected to a dock or to power, or after a certain time. Sounds liek you have an app causing your issue.

I seem to have a lot of widgets which have appeared when I had phone on auto updating of apps. Tried to delete these widgets, drag and drop into dustbin but they won't delete?

correct when you see the trashcan your just removing from a page


click the icon thats called apps for your app drawer now click the menu button and then uninstall apps

anything with a red dash beside it can be deleted by taping that dash, if there is no red dash you can delete that app without root

That won't work.

If you long press an app in the app drawer, the trash can that appears at the top of the screen is for removing the shortcut to the app from the home screen.

There are 2 ways to delete multiple apps

The quick way

From your home screen, tap "Apps" - make sure you arte in the Apps tab and not the widgets tab.

Press the menu softkey (bottom left) and select "Uninstall"

A cirlce with a red "-" will appear next to each app, press that and a confirmation box will appear.


The long way

Open settings (either drag top of screen don and press the cog or tap the menu softkey and select "settings")

Select "Application Manager"

Find the app in the list, tap on it, wait for it to load its cache data

Press "Uninstall"
