Help Phone thinks its in vibrate?

As of Sunday, my phone sometimes thinks its in vibrate mode and I can't hear anything when someone calls. Anybody know what the deal is?

Thanks.

Just a shot in the dark. Press your power button until the power off dialog pops up and check and make sure that vibrate isn't chosen there. There are three buttons across the bottom of the dialog box, mute, vibrate and sound. Make sure sound is chosen.

Hello and welcome to the forums .i see your having a problem with the sound toggle from vibrations . May i ask did you download any apps that may have muted sounds such as games or emulators rom games.

Do you use AVG antivirus?

I did have AVG installed and noticed whenever I made a call, it would set my phone to vibrate. I wouldn't notice until someone tried calling or I realised I had a load of missed calls. Google'd the problem and traced it back to AVG. Uninstalled it and haven't had the issue since.
