Root Phone-Time discrepancy

Hello, I'm having a problem with my Prevail.

I recently reimaged (in order to update to CT3.6/CWM5; had CT3.3-KK2.3 before) it using Odin (using the FE16 update+CWM) and installed CTMOD3.6 + KK2.5. I was messing around with PRLs earlier (and eventually got back to 61007 default), but now I found out that there is a time discrepancy between my actual clock and the taskbar clock.

So basically, right now, it is 7:58PM (EST) but my taskbar (the little black/gray bar above) shows 11:58PM. Whaaaat?!

So I went to Settings to check if something was wrong, and no, the time is actually well-set to 7:58PM. I checked and unchecked "auto-updating", and it didn't help. I manually changed the time and restarted the phone, and that was also unsuccessful.

I'm posting this also in case others are facing the same problem.

I'll appreciate any help on this. Thanks.
 
I had that problem as well but I never messed with the PRLs or anything else. It was also a while ago and not recently.
I just went ahead and reinstalled/reimaged the phone.

Edit: I think I also remember that rebooting it fixed it but it would still come back from time to time. I could be wrong. I have a shitty memory.

maybe just reflash the rom but do all the wipes first. sometimes something just happens like that.
 
persist.sys.timezone=America/Los_Angeles

or wherever u from

put that in build.prop (or local.prop would work i guess havent tried tho)

if you leave state and go to new timezone you gonna be on that time tho

when u dont have boost service on airplane mode with no wifi sometimes time wont be right either. this fix that.

and a ghost, when say something he apears out of nowhere and then don't hear from him for a while, but he always has the right answer and that is a good thing!!!!!! thanks LV:D
