phone to tablet connection

Hi all, this is probably a stupid question but as i could not find in the forums ill post here.

i have a infuse 4g, i just got a thrive,

now for question... when plugging the infuse to the thrive (via) usb cable i show the infuse with a connection however i find no such notification on the thrive nor can i see in the storage section any connection to this.

im trying to pull pics off phone, in future other things.

do i need to do something to the thrive in order to make this possible?
thrive is store bought wifi only no data connection i can via bluetooth transfer, but it is SLOWWWWWW.

any and all help welcome!

i also posted this in the tablet forum hoping someone in the infuse forum would have a clue!

It is the thrives fault, and i am not sure it would even recognize the infuse.

I have the same combo of devices that you do. I accomplished what you are talking about two different ways.
1) hook them both up to a laptop via usb and then drag / drop or
2) put all the pics from my phone on the external SD, pull it out and pop in to SD adapter to use in the thrive.

I've tried several methods for direct connection and can't make it work.

Have you tried dropbox? Its cloud sharing so it depends on your internet connection.
