So I closed my slider with a little more force then usual and the darn thing shut off.
I have repeated the test, and YEP it shuts down everytime.
I took the battery cover off, HELD the battery in place and that prevented it from being shut off.
Before I run back for a swap out, can someone else test this, because if it's on all phones, I'll just keep mine and remember not to shut the slider real fast.
Seems like the battery needs to be held in a little snugger in the back which I'm sure if a tiny piece of paper was squeezed in on bottom face of the battery it would provide a snugger fit against the contacts.
