Phone unlock codes looked really expensive

Looked on the major auction site, and phone unlock codes for this phone seemed out of the park. I've no pressing need to unlock the phone, but wondered what was up, that the codes were so expensive.

Your carrier should provide you one for free if you have no obligations, financial or otherwise, to them. Mine did (in about 3 hours).
