Root Phone updated to zvg

My phone automatically updated to zvg before I can root it. so I need help rooting my phone with the zvg update. HELP!!!:confused:
 
Exactly what time did you get this update? this morning? and did it update in the same way that it did with ZVE?
 
it updated last week, not sure what time but before I had the zvc but im not sure how I can root my phone when no one has the updated zvg.. am I the only one updated?
 
as far as i know your the only one i have heard that has a SW Version_ZVG update... I un-rooted mine about a month ago then updated to the SW Version_ZVE then re-rooted and everythinng went smoothly for me on the re-root
 
May you go in your settings, under "about phone" and find "SW version" and read it back to us?

It is SW Version_MS910ZVG. I asume metro PCs updated my phone.. Because I have no clue how to do so.. Im trying to root my phone to eliminate bloatware and add on extra fun stuff but i am confused at this point.
 
So your saying that it updated on its own . You didnt see no pop up or notifications in status bar about this . Cause if it did your data was flat lined and you must have to pay for going over the limit or your phone was extra slow .
 
Well I havent paid for going over my data because it's unlimited. And yes my phone shut down and an Android Icon popped up with a message about an update, I took out the battery booted my phone and waited then it said update.... zvg is complete. Do you know if its still ok for me to root my phone to zvd or zve? I dont want to mess up my phone.
 
Well you at zvg we need to figure out what the zvg is . But zvd or zve is less than the zvg i would think . But if you was zvc and now zvg i would wait cause there isn't anything to flash . This is because no one has zvg yet.
 
May i ask what part of the world are you in and what time did you notice the update . And you said you removed the battery when it said you was being updated .
 
where is the srceen shot superuser sasked about? you going to get everyone in a up roar cause we just delt with zve and its probs,but im nt trying to be rude or anything,but we need something to show for and then we might get somewhere.
 
US, Florida around 3pm.. I guess you're right about not updating it yet but my phone still sucks with the zvg update. I wish I could screenshot to show you
 
theres plenty of apps that will do it,or other ways of takn pic,im in florida and nothing here as in a zvg update,wat parts of fl?
 
Well its your lucky day you can download a apk from the playstore that can do this so you can show us all just try this one. SCREENSHOT HD

Yes cause lg update tool wont let u update to zvg until its out and i dont know of any other source that will. And this raises a red flag cause it sounds like metro is picking which device to send to . So that means they are watching what we are doing :eek::rolleyes::banghead: and i dont think that but its odd how a unlimited data just pushes a update to your device .

im on the unlimited everything,and root and unroot numerous times to see if anything changes or....but nothing.i was just at metro corporate not so long ago and they did their lil update too besides the lg update i did myself,never heard from the metro guys bout watch out for a new update or anything bout it,they handed me my phone and said u good to go,but i do hope we get to see the zv? :smokingsomb:
 
I am on the phone and the corporate store said he had to look as of now its none but he had to call others around the world states to see. He said he dont think it will be zvg either .
 
not saying u did,but with rom toolbox you can change a bunch of things,as name of rom,and i believe the vers,build display,product name,maybe on accident in toolbox build prop editor maybe hit wrong button?
 
All the screenshots ive installed tell me that I have to be rooted to get a picture and i am not next to a computer.. Im curious to know myself why i am the only one with this update.
