I use my HTC DNA as a hotspot for my tablet. It automatically shuts off after a few minutes. Is there any way to adjust this, such as it shuts off after an hour or 15 minutes of no activity?

Here is how to adjust it on the DNA.

1. Go to Settings
2. Press More underneath Data Usage
3. Go to Mobile Network Sharing
4. Go to Mobile Hotspot Settings
5. Press Menu in the upper right of the screen, and choose advanced.
6. Press Power Mode, and change to "Always On".

Done :)

P.S. I moved this to the DNA Forum. :)

Has this worked for you? Mine has been set to always on but still turns off after10 minutes or so .

I'll be honest I haven't tethered with this phone using the stock software, so I couldn't tell you if mine does it or not. You can try a third party tethering software, such as foxfi to see if the behavior is better. Verizon doesn't block them, and if you are paying for the service, they don't care if you use another app. :)
