Help Phone will not boot at all.

My phone won't boot in general. I was changing settings in ROM Control(AOKP), and had just finished downloading the franco.kernel updater. I turned on my generic hotplug e.t.c. to receive more battery power. My screen suddenly stopped responding to touch tone and than just blacked out on me. Any solutions(this is my first phone ever, just got used to the controls, but I was suffering from horrible battery life)? I'm new to this so any suggestions to assist, please explain them in DETAIL(steps would be nice).

I don't know what the problem was, but my phone booted into recovery mode with a green (Downloading), but it loaded soon after.

FOR FUTURE REFERENCE:
Remove your battery, Do not charge with usb and wait!
I did it, not proven but from experience it worked for me!

I've had my phone refuse to boot up a couple times, although I'm running stock. Anyhow, pulling the battery always seems to do the trick. I'm glad I don't have one of those phones with a non-removable battery...
