Help Phone will not connect to 3G or Edge

Alright, so I looked around the forums a bit and couldn't find the specific problem I'm having.

So, last night my phone was working just fine, connecting to 3G and Edge, along with bars of service no problem. I charged it over night, and was texting this morning. I wrote up a text and sent it. It wouldn't send, however, and gave me a "Message not sent" notification. I tried resending several times, and noticed that while I had 3 bars of service, I wasn't connected to the 3G or Edge networks. I've tried resetting my phone and removing the battery several times.

For whatever reason, it will not connect. I'm extremely frustrated.

Also, my phone hasn't been able to connect to wifi, so I can't fix it using that, if that was an option at all.

I just want to understand and fix why it won't connect to 3G or Edge at all.

Have you thought to call T Mobile. It sounds like a problem on there end.
