Root Phone won't boot

So i was messing around with transparent lock screens and editing the framework-res.apk. When my editing was complete, i pasted it back into the directory as it should have been and my phone automatically rebooted. When it was on it's way back up, the "HTC Quietly Brilliant" screen was flickering and not going any further. I then did a system wipe using clockwork recovery (as i had not done a nandroid back up in quite some time). So now it boots from the Droid Incredible screen, to the HTC Quietly Brilliant screen and then nothing. Nothing happens, phone is off.

Any ideas on how to even get this thing functional again?

...I think the easiest way would be to put the stock 2.2 rom onto the SD and re-flash. That's what i'm doing now.
