Phone won't charge??

So after my phone's battery ran dry I plugged into the charger and now it won't even charge. First I tried to download there new system update (my phone wasn't rooted by the way) and the update screwed me up so I had to return the phone to factory settings.

So since I was at it I rooted the phone, everything was working perfectly fine then when the battery ran out the phone wouldn't charge. Am I screwed??

maybe a dumb question..but did you try a different charger by chance?

did you power off the phone before charging?

You might be screwed. you might want to get a new replacment phone.
