Root Phone won't connect to PC anymore!

No clue what's going on! I can't connect to my computer anymore and I cant put my stock rom back on my phone to reboot it. I've tried factory reset but nothing. Anyone know any solutions?

More detail please. What happened before this / what were you doing? Does it light up when plugged into PC? Does it light up when plugged into a wall socket? Does it boot?

Everything works fine. Phone works and everything but it just doesnt connect to my PC. Stupid me I forgot where I did this but i was messing with what said "Name" and it has numbers and letters for example: fe08d26 something like that. And I thought it was the name of my phone when i plugged in into the computer and I changed the name.

Does it say its mounted but then its not in My computer? When you say you deleted this info, was it on the phone or the PC? How long ago?

When I plug it in my Windows 7 Computer. The little message box says drivers not installed. Everything lights up ok. I tried to mount the drive via recovery but nothing happened. I changed the "name" on the phone. Maybe in quick system info pro or the stock phone settings. I cant remember which.

In settings>applications>development, do you have "device Hostname"? Thats possibly it.

What rom are you on? Custom or stock? If custom, easiest thing to do is reflash it as it should overwrite this I would expect.

Failing that, titanium backup then factory wipe. If that name is what caused this

Well looking at it now. that's exactly what I changed. But its set back to what it used to be now...

Ok what about this question for you. I'm in the process of restoring my old rom(original) stock. its saying md5 mismatch.

Stock rooted without mods has nothing on the rooted stocks you can download with additions (Teppic74's for example - if you're GSM) or custom roms.

It wont return it to stock for warranty purposes either, so you have lost nothing except for evidence supporting your reason for rooting in the first place.

CDMA, I was going back to stock for signal purposes. I can't get any signal with CM Nor with Ultimate Droid. A phone isnt worth having all this cool stuff if i cant use it lolz

USCC? Eddy OS has a rooted stock 2.2 rom on XDA somewhere
