Root phone wont go into recovery

i was instaling a rom when i was having difficulties getting the rom to load so i rebooted the phone to get back on the recovery but now it doesnt even let me get in the recovery. it just freezes in the htc logo. someone please help

if you're able to get into the bootloader try reflashing a recovery using fastboot commands.

place the recovery image into the same folder as adb (android>sdk>platform-tools) and then assuming the phone can power into the bootloader/fastboot w usb ability type the command fastboot flash recovery recovery.img. this should rewrite the recovery and hopefully get the device working a bit.
