Root Phone wont take Root

Hi,

Thanks for the board and all the info I have found so far.

Im having a problem rooting my phone. I followed the instructions to a T I believe but im not getting anywhere.

I Enabled USB
I downloaded the z4root to my SD card
I opened the file and in started its process, the phone restarted
I opened Titu-Pro and it said asking for root privileges then I get a Error Message

Sorry i could not aquire the root privileges. This App will not work. Please verify that your rom is rooted and includes busy box and try again.

I open the z4root again and it gives me the option to reinstall.

Any suggestions? Thanks again

Did you click the PROBLEM button on Titu-pro and let it download the lastest version of Busybox?
 
Yes I did. When busybox gets going it states the phone is not rooted and titu cant get root access

Phone seems to be less responsive or delayed
 
Did you use the link in the guide to get the Z4root? There are different versions. Maybe you got the wrong one. Did you get the superuser icon? Idk never really heard of this problem before. Sorry I couldn't be more help. If you didn't get Z4 root from the link, try that and start over.
 
Yes i did get it from the forum instructions. i followed them to a T. I cant start over it wont let me reinstall it.

when i open the icon it just gives me the option to install z4root again but it wont take. Need some help on what to do or how to start this process over again because as it is now im stuck, what i havee done wont take and i cant seem to back up either
