Help phone wont turn on!

so my phone reached 0% battery so i put it to recharge for like an hour, i come back to power on phone and nothing happens, when i go to plug in recharger phone doesn't light up or anything? Do i need a new phone/battery or what?

quick update: now the 3 buttons on the bottom light on and off.

That happened to me 1 time on the Optimus they said I had completely drained the battery I had to get a new battery

are you sure you plugged it? did you try taking battery out?

ughh nvm it magically fixed itself
