Hello and welcome to the forums . now your android keeps shutting off may I ask did you drop it and is this s3 ROOTED. When was the last time you done a factory reset

How far does the booting go before cutting off

It's helpful to ask did you flash anything or do anything root related before it started this as well.

Yes im running a custom rom and whay happens is ill be on a app and it will just switch off and it says Samsung galaxy s3 as It normally does wen u on ur phone and it flashes on that but wen I keep my hand on the power button it turns on

I had a similar problem a while back, did you flash a rom right before this started happening?

In my case it was my particular rom that was triggering the shut down.

It may be the case for you then again it might not be. It could as well be the battery is starting to wear down and short out.

Or even something more internal.

Have you tried a different battery?

Try to reflash the ROM without wiping anything just flash the ROM and go back to system

Go to settings, about phone, scroll to the bottom and take a screenshot.
Post it on here if you can and someone will tell you what rom youre on :thumbup:
