I recently puchased a Pioneer AVH-3300BT car stereo, It downloads the phonebook via Bluetooth from the HTC Droid Incredible each time the car starts up. It does it quickly and efficiently.
The Pioneer unit, however, handles a maximum of 1000 names. I have more than 3000 names in my phone. So, the Pioneer downloads 1000 names and stops. I cannot figure out which 1000 names it downloads. It does not seem to be alphabetical order or numeric order.
I asked Pioneer, and they said "We use the Phone Book Access (PBA) profile to get the contacts. The phone controls what contacts we get."
So, I ask, does anyone know if there is a way to control the contacts? Is it possible to sync only a group -- perhaps my Favorites -- in a PBA request?
