Hi guys,
Totally unimpressed with P4U! They clearly do not have a clue what's happening, either online or in store.
I've just had the following conversation with an online customer service person on the P4U Website:
Kadykat says:
You're probably getting a lot of this today, however I pre-ordered the Samsung Galaxy S2 with yourselves purely because of the early release date and delivery date of 27th of April, I ordered and received confirmation of the order on 18th of April. Around half an hour ago I received an email saying that you're working as hard as you can to process the dispatch, and that I'll receive another email with expected delivery date. Obviously I'm now wondering whether I'm going to receive my phone today
Kadykat says:
as originally stated
Sam Gibbs says:
I can see that there has gone a note on the account earlier on today. This does advise that the order will be despatched today for you and the delivery will be tomorrow.
Kadykat says:
Can you confirm whether delivery will definitely take place tomorrow? I had to take the day off work today to ensure someone would be in to sign for it, I really don't want to have to do the same tomorrow and be left in the same position.
Sam Gibbs says:
It has been noted by our warehouse to advise that will be despatched today for delivery tomorrow.
Kadykat says:
That's not really a definite answer now, is it? If I wish to cancel my order, how do I go about doing that?
Sam Gibbs says:
If you want to cancel the order you can speak to our cancellation team and they will arrange this for you,.
Sam Gibbs says:
The contact number is 08448 712 234 and then select option 4.
Sam Gibbs says:
Is there anything else I can help you with today?
Kadykat says:
I'll stick with the order for now, do you know when I'm likely to receive an email confirming despatch?
Sam Gibbs says:
You should receive an email to advise that it has been despatched.
Kadykat says:
Today?
Sam Gibbs says:
Yes
Kadykat says:
Can I just check who you use as a courier, and if possible what time to expect delivery tomorrow? So I can make arrangements again as I did today
Sam Gibbs says:
It will be Royal Mail that deliver your order. We can not specify a time with it being a 3rd party courier. If you are not in when a delivery is attempted then a card will be left.
During the chat I phoned my local store, the person I spoke to there didn't even seem to know that the release date was today!
I understand that P4U are going to be massively overwhelmed but this really s a mess. No confidence in them whatsoever! I'll be very surprised if it turns up tomorrow.
