Photo and video quality

Yes i have. Photos are a lot better, doesnt work well when taking pics of other people. HDR really enhances all the 'cons' of peoples faces. I learned that the hard way. Nonetheless the pictures are a lot cleaner, flash doesnt work with HDR so no night time pics.
Ill try to post a reg pic and HDR pic in a few.

HDR certainly brings out more details especially in darker areas but for some reason 95% of my HDR shots have a ghosting effect around edges, I think you have to be perfectly still when taking shots with HDR enabled.

I think what the HDR does is it takes two pictures and combines them, so it makes sense that you would need to hold still for it to turn out right.

I feel like Hdr pictures bring out the detail in everything. Here's a picture of me with and without Hdr from my Mercury. A little creepy actually.... haha.

I do love this phone though. I used to have an Iphone 3g up until about a year ago. After the ios 4 update the phone was pretty much a brick and was VERY slow. I lost my job and had to go with a cheap cricket feature phone for a while and sell the iphone. I just got this phone a couple months ago tho, and I love it. I can't believe I was able to get something this good without a contract. I would love to have a galaxy nexus but I just can't afford to start up a contract so this is the next best thing. And I'm not missing much so I'm happy.

Welcome to the forum, glad you found your way here! I took some pictures with the HDR on last night, and I did notice the difference in detail. Pretty cool!
