Help photo deleting leaves a blank image

as posted in the title , i deleted 5 or 6 photos from my gallery ,
now when i scroll through my gallery where the photos were , is just a blank space , i deleted the pics thinking it would automatically compress the gallery together, not leave me with the blanks , any ideas ?

Might be worth rebooting to force a refresh of the gallery

Yeah mine have started doing that since updating to Froyo.

I find that if I leave the application, either gallery or file manager then when I go back its all sorted.

One mildly annoying thing is the gallery speed for me since the update. Was smooth and fast before but now its a little laggy with pics taking a few seconds to load. No biggie and the benefits really do outweigh this problem.

Hopefully be sorted with an update,

not on froyo yet and have tried both suggestions , still the same , on 2.1 with orange , any more ideas folks ?

mine does it too. 2.1 on orange
