Help Photo gallery issue

I use my camera to take a picture. No problems. I then go into my gallery and it only shows the pic that I just took. My other gallery pics are gone. I reboot the phone and go back into gallery and now everything is back. Am I doing something wrong when I take a pic?

Have you tried waiting for a minute or so after taking the pic before going into Gallery, rather than rebooting?

Also, I'd check the camera app configuration for a setting/checkbox somewhere that may address that.

I went into the camera options and changed the save function from sd card to internal memory and that fixed it. Thanks. I don't understand why saving it to the sd card gives me such a problem.
