Root Photo Gallery

[tr11]

Are there any other photo galleries to use other then the 3d gallery? I'm on nonsensikal 15.2.
I just want a very basic photo gallery. I find the 3d one to lag a little bit.

It's the 2D gallery app at the top of the list. Should work for you. You can flash it from recovery, or extract the apk and install it from a file manager.

If you go the flash route, as always do a nand backup.

I love the fact that the 3D gallery allows easy access to your picasa web albums, but it lags my phone too much. If someone could make the 2D gallery access picasa or combine the two I would love it.

Haven't had much lag or glitching on the 3D Gallery as of late even when changing screen orientation.

The TC is looking for an alternative to the 3D Gallery

Might like Just Pictures Reads the SD card as expected but also will let you pull from your Picassa but also from Smugmug, Flickr, Facebook, Photobucket and a couple more.

What I really like is you can exclude subdirectories from the SD card. Great for those subdirs that end up with a graphic file or 2 that the usual galleries want to add to the thumbnails to weed through (Google maps icons).
