I noticed recently on a friends S4 that he has an option in his photo gallery that he can "hide photos". My S4 does not have this option available in the gallery. How do I enable it? Both phones are running the same operating system version.
Tried it - no such option. You have to know how to find and use that option.
-Go into gallery.
-At the top make sure albums it's the set viewing.
-Press and hold on one of the albums you want to hide, until it checks it self.
-Then while the album is selected, tap the phone's menu button. (Bottom left button)
-Then you'll find that hide option.

"Slideshow" and "rename" are the only options that I get under these circumstances. Again, I'm running 4.4.2 (Verizon) - for those who have the "hide" option, what version are you running?![]()
For some albums, that options shows up. for others, it doesn't. Maybe it has to do with where it's on the internal or external memory? I'm on Verizon 4.4.2
