Help Photo Size

I have a problem with sending pictures. My girlfriend can't receive my pictures on her crap phone. Now I think this has something to do with size. Her pictures that I get from her are around 29kb and the ones I send are around 400-500. Is there any way I can fix this...

I had the same issue. There are apps you can download to shrink them. Or, depending on your SMS app (like Go SMS) it will automatically shrink them.

I never found a way to edit/modify how to shrink the photos stock or how to set them to take smaller pics.

I tried using Go SMS but it sends pictures as links for me... and that doesn't work for Virgin Mobile (her carrier). Is that normal or what.

My husband uses go sms and some pics come as links others just as pics. It's annoying. I use handcent

Does handcent automatically re-size pics

Yeah when i go to attach one it converts it for mms.

Thats weird. Go SMS for me always resizes and sends as pics not links.

Well keep in mind that to you it may appear as a picture but the person you're texting may not receive it as one.

I use Whatsapp. If the image is to large it automatically compresses it to a lower quality. The problem is if the people you plan to send pictures don't have an Android/iOS/BB/Symbian phone. Whatsapp only supports those mobile OS i mentioned.
