Photon 4 color symbol ?

RA51

Lurker
Just bought 2 brand new Photon 4 phones. On one phone the wifi symbol, 3G symbol, an signal strength are blue in color an easy to read. The other phone has the same symbols but in white an turn grey as strength increases but are hard to read. Is there a setting on the phone to make them show blue in color. Been to the Sprint store where I purchased the phones an plan. They say the phone is fine but do not know how to change setting for this. Anyone have a cure for this issue ? The phone came like this.

The blue color indicates that the background data is running (automatically)
Go to menu/settings/battery and data management/data delivery and check that background data and data enabled is checked

Thanks for the response. I have been searching the internet to figure this out for a few days. I had to login to the gmail account for that phone. Then the symbols will turn blue for wifi,3G,an phone signal strength.

Welcome to AF!

You'll find that most of your questions can be answered here. I remember finding this place for the first time. I was stunned at what I was learning. And after almost two years, I'm still learning so much because of these amazing "Super users" and experts around here.

Another great place for Android info is: Android Forums & Windows Phone Discussion @ xda-developers

That place can get very technical and I don't understand much of what they talk about there. However, as I learn more, I become more amazed at what my Android phone can do. They have developers there who develop programs, apps, ROMS, kernels, etc. for almost any device and operating system. They also find ways of fixing bugs on many devices.

And, if you are at all interested in pursuing greater knowledge of what your phone can do and decide that you might want to root and get into the guts of your phone, they can help you do it without damaging your phone.

Welcome!
