Photon 4g > Evo 3d?

I've just come a crossed the photon, and it seems to be one of the top phones on sprint right now. i'm going to get my new phone tomorrow and was set on the 3D, but i've since watched several videos/dogfights pinning the photon as the better phone.

any help or insight guy?
would be much appreciated.

good question.... mostly it is up to each individuals perception to which might be better "fit"

but based on history...
HTC has a great developer support
hero vs moment.. moment had better specs.. but hero clearly won
evo vs epic... epic has bettter specs... but evo has won.. and still getting better.

currently Photon has great power benchmarks...but HTC support and Sense brings all the parts together better for a overall satisfaction.

As far as performance, the Photon seems pretty powerful. Early reviews from our members here in the Photon forums say that the camera takes pictures very well, and call quality is excellent.

Take a good look at the display though. I had a good look at it today (finally) and was pretty turned off by it. If you scroll the screen or even just look around a stationary screen, the pixels appear to buzz or move. Pretty distracting. For details about this issue, check out the Photon forums here. For some people it's not an issue. For others, it's annoying.

I'm not a fan of either device but I would take the evo 3D over the photon. I played with a photon for a few minutes and I was disappointed with the lag just slide from left to right. I also find it unoriginal with the kick stand, it's as if its trying to be an EVO 4G. This was a model device at a sprint store so that could be a reason for the lag I experience.
