Help Photo's can't be found my SD Card

Ok so it's like this
I took a picture with my phone
when i mounted my SD Card i couldn't find where the pic was
please help

iv had a fairly similar problem, twhen i try to take a picture, itll have the picture up and i can send it to people or upload it to facebook and stuff like that, but if i go into my pictures its not there, does the picture come up in the phone gallery?

Which app are you using to take the picture? Usually they'll end up in a folder named after the camera app, or in one called DCIM.
