Help Photos from Galaxy 4 to PC

Lots of options for a workaround.
Just to throw another out there, Drop Box.
You can upload pictures to Drop Box and have access to them from multiple devices and PC.
Also able to share with others using the public folder and sending a link.

I had Dropbox right before this became and issue and thinking that might be part of the problem, I got rid of it. :(

Just wanted to tell everyone here after all the help you folks supplied, that this very bizarre thing happened. I printed off every post and tried so many things, but today I was so fed up that I called my carrier and asked them WHY my phone would not connect like a drive so I could transfer my photos as I had done for years with previous iPhone's, and also a Galaxy 3s. He asked me to get the cable I used to charge my phone which I had already tried before and was floored that it immediately connected and the phone then showed up as it's own drive.

I was totally blown away. I told the rep I needed to hang up before it all disappeared. :)

The only thing and I don't even care at this point is that I was able to transfer all the photos in the "Gallery" folder but could never find the folder "Photos" which seems to have some additional photos.

Thanks again to everyone.

One other thing. I need to get rid of one of those phones but having 2 no contract phones was cheaper than AT&T. One Carrier was Virgin Mobile and the other was with Straight Talk. Never had any issues with either one.
I just wanted to make sure that one worked for me in Las Vegas and they both did. I plan on getting rid of the Virgin Mobile.

Glad you got it working. My s4 is the most finicky phone I own when it comes to connecting to a PC. Only the OEM Samsung cable will work.

None that I know of. USB connection is set at Charge only by default on newer Android versions. You have to change to MPT each time you connect to PC.
