Help Photos missing from gallery

I've recently had a problem where pictures taken with my phone will disappear from the gallery. They usually disappear a day or so later and a restart of the phone makes them appear again. Also, not all of the ones taken with my phone disappear...only a few. Any ideas on why this is happening and how to fix it? I switched from an iPhone and loaded the pictures from my iPhone onto my Inspire's HD card if that makes a difference.

it happened to me twice already,
i downloaded Astro, so i just go to Astro to get the pic if it dispappear in the gallery.

Same thing. Someone on the forum tipped me off to Astro, so I downloaded it and found the pictures. Somehow I got them back into the gallery, but I don't remember how. Peobably a lot of random poking around.
