Photos won't load

Got the Note 2 for Christmas. Didn't have problems with photos loading at first, but after I added Facebook app, it populated my phone with all of those photos, too. Now, any time I try to access any photo - even a new one taken by the camera - it just spins "LOADING."
HELP!
Also, are all of those Facebook photos actually on my phone, or is it just accessing them from Facebook?

That happened to me too.

When I got my replacement phone (I cracked my screen), I turned syncing facebook photos off as I literally have hundreds of photos in facebook.

UPDATE: I deleted Facebook, and that helped .. for awhile. I'm still getting loading issues. I do have a lot of photos on Picasa/Google it is pulling in, which I didn't set to do. It wasn't doing that when I first got the phone.
