How do i get the URL of a pic so I can usetags on forums.![]()
I have tried every thing I can think of with the phone an I'm getting no were.

On on the 3rd day with my skyrocket coming from a iPhone 3g and so far I'm hating it.
There are plenty things I love about the phone like making my own ringtones ect...
But I mostly use my phone for internet forums (such as this one) and I find it lacking.
biggest issue I had is with pictures. It didn't want to load half the pics. And since one of my favorite pass times is reading rockcrawler build threads with lots of pics that's a big problem.
SO i got another browser (dolphin hd) that didn't do any better.
then I got dolphin mini. that showed the pics but stacked them horizontally causing the screen to be so gigantic it took for ever to scroll around.
Then I tried Opera. This browser loads the pics nice but ever time I write a reply is kicks me back to home screen.
And these issues are not just on one site. I'm having problems with pirate4x4, suzukicrawlers, zukiworld ect...
My old ass iPhone did not have any of these problems. It would load every page just fine and show every pic....
Well since I actually got a response here maybe I can get a response of what I posted in the iPhone support thread.

I also found your first post was in a kind of conglomerate sticky. While probably a good start, sometimes questions get lost in those
. Hopefully the nice folks over here will pick up on your other questions regarding image downloads.I'm sorry to hear you had no responses to your original thread. I didn't start a thread I just added to the iPhone support thread sticked at the top of the Skyrocket page.
I'm going to look it up to see where it is as I was unaware there was an iPhone forum here. I was curious if my suggestion above worked for you, Well I can copy the pic location in the address bar but for some reason it doesn't copy the http:// in the being of the address. So along with the added clicks to go to "view image" then copy the address bar I also have to zoom in and add http:// to every address of every pic I am trying to post.
This turned a simple 2 click process on the iPhone in to a 10-15 click process on my skyrocket. I tried this on my wife's Atrix2 and it works great. So it's definitely a SR problem.
as others that stumble across this thread would like to know. As far as your issues with pictures in the above post, I have only had sporadic image download issues, but I am on a different phone than you. You may want to check in with your phone's forum (Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket - Android Forums) where you can get help from users with specific knowledge to your new phone.
Again, I hope I helped and welcome to Android Forums.![]()

I can confirm that the long press solution, previously mentioned, works for this device.
Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket
Gingerbread 2.3.5

Sorry, I must have been posting my edit while you were posting. I found this thread using the "Unanswered Threads" link and sometimes I am guilty of not catching where it is postedShow on my computer that I am in Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket.![]()
