Everyone has different needs, etc etc. If the iphone meets those requirements, so be it. I know that not everyone will have the same needs as myself, so why should I get upset or offended if someone chooses differently?

I think some the "upset" ones are expressing that they don't want to see satisfied Android to iPhone posts in these forums, and that seems not only rude and narrow, but is also contrary to forum guidelines. The Moderators here have made that clear, and have even removed some posts with that in mind.

I have family members and friends with iPhones and most like them very much. One thing that I've not seen at all, personally, is what the OP has done: going from Android to iPhone, although I've seen the opposite move with coworkers mainly.

It seems the iPhone suffers from AT&T network problems, as well as lack of customizing, etc. The main thing that drew some away and toward Android is the plethora of choices in styles. iPhone is just iPhone (white or black), but I've lost track of how many Androids are out there to choose from.

As much as everyone bashes them the iphone is a great device. I could sit here and name off things about it that I absolutely hate all day but thats because I personally dont like it or Apple or their closed environment. I think we can all agree that until the original iphone had been out nothing like it had ever been released before, it changed the game paving the way for android and the phones we all know and love today.

To the OP, gratz for going with what might work better from you, and sorry for the immature reactions you may get. The iphone is a great device for many people, otherwise it wouldnt have sold as well over the different variations its gone through. Although I do hate to see people leaving android for apple I myself have converted quite a bit over from the other side...

First, I completely respect the OP's decision to go to iphone. It is his choice so it doesn't matter why, all that matters is he did, and if he is happy who are we to cast stones?

I mean my moms iphone 4 drops battery life like its hot.. (playing with it I watch the numbers go down and question if I want a smart phone at all), and we are talking minimal usage.

Playing with evo at least I felt like I was doing more as the battery ran down. But, then thats personal experience so its hard to say whats accurate..
