picked up Droid today. case/filcan m recommendations

I hate cases but I run screen "films" for sure. I like the Bodyguardz one. Your fingers slide over like they would on glass, the other ones feel sticky

its not anti glare but it does reduce finger prints or at least there affect on the screen. As for car chargers stick to good one, no ebay crap. the cheap ones will not charge while you are using the MP3 player or nav

you dont like cases just like me?....=) I like the feel of the phone too w/out a case, but since I have a 7 yr old who takes my phone once a in while....I am thinkin maybe to get one.

I am coming from the iPhone 4 so as far as accessories I need help with how to play music with my Alpine ida-x303 car stereo or I might even put the factory stereo back in my Toyota Highlander and get an fm transmitter...

do you have an extra battery for your Droid?

If that Model has Bluetooth you can place music threw that, if not you need to use the USB method. On my Kenwood I use the Bluetooth.

As for no scratches. My Droid has to scratches in the gorilla glass

Your alpine should have an "Ai-Net" input in the back which is normally used for CD Changers. You can buy an alpine adapter KCA-121B (best buy has a non alpine brand equivalent" which will give you auxiliary rca inputs. Then you can just run from the headphone port to the rca's. Wired connections will always be better than an fm transmitter.

I was gonna do that but since the iPhone upset me so much I didn't wanna see anything with the ipod/iphone/apple logo on it....fm transmitter is cool, just need a good recommendation for one.

I guess I don't understand. Alpine and the adapter with accompanying rca cables don't have anything to do with apple or their logos. You go into the alpine settings and enable "Aux" mode.

Regular Droid does not come with the Gorilla Glass for the record. Also I got my Seidio Innocase for $14 shipped from Amazon dinosaur

I am using a completely naked droid. The gorilla glass screen gets no scratches at all.

Beg to differ sir...I have a small scratch on the top right of my screen. I dropped my phone one day on our hard-wood floor and it must of scratched on SOMETHING lol. I have it in an Otterbox Case now and (love it!) it won't be hurt now :)

+1 Seidio Innocase.
I also like the holster because it holds the phone screen-in, but it's by no means fashion-forward (the wife thinks it looks like an insulin pump).

I'm impressed with my Boxwave screen protector. It's as slick as the bare screen, which I like for Swype.
