Help Pics have a blue tint

I know the camera isn't supposed to be best in class but a lot of my pics have a blue tint. Is there a means to fix this in settings?

The obvious setting to check is the white balance. Try selecting the correct white balance for the light conditions, instead of using the auto setting, and see if it's still blue. I've noticed that it doesn't adjust the white balance well for pics with flash too.

The problem is I'm not much of a photographer. What should the white balance be?

I just played around with it and completely fixed it - no more blue tint! The pics are actually pretty damn good. :)

What settings did you change? Did you change the White Balance? Its best to keep that on auto unless auto gives you a weird tint at that given time. Keep in mind that different types of lights will require different WB settings. You just have to find the right WB to work with whatever light you're given at the time of the shot.

I'm not sure what its called but using the thumb wheel I changed the setting from auto to the sunshine symbol. It seems the auto setting was mucking things up.
