Help pics question

With the iphone if i want to send pics i could just click on how many pics to send by text. Can i do that with my evo instead of sending pics one by one?
 
In the gallery, turn on multi select (press menu twice), check the picks you want to sent then select share.

Step by step instructions:


  1. Click the GALLERY
  2. Pick the album the photos you want to send are located in
  3. Click the SHARE icon
  4. Click the icon of the way you want to share (facebook, email, etc.*)
  5. You pictures should now be visible. At the top of the screen it will say "Select one or more items". Tap on the items you wish to send
  6. Click next

The item or items you want to send will now populate in the service you chose to "share".

*Note: you may only be able to send one photo at a time in some applications, TEXT may be one of them.

This is it. I can multiple select when emailing pictures, but not when sending by text. Thanks! I was sure that I could send multiple pictures via text before on my Hero. Hmmm...must be a froyo or EVO thing? I dunno.

Anyway, thanks for the step by step...the "*Note" is what cleared it up for me...unless someone else has a way to send multiple pics via messages or Handcent.

In 3d gallery, press menu and the grey'd out check boxes appear in the upper right corner of each pic. Check the pics you want to effect then select share. Works fine on my Evo and is a feature I've been using for a while. It even worked on the Moment, though the 3d gallery was almost too slow to use. I'm not using a stock rom and haven't for quite a while, but I seem to remember it working with stock too.

Just checked it using go sms and sent 4 pics to my wife at once. She just texted back asking why I sent her old pics, so I guess she received them.

Got it! Thanks! The options for multiply images is far less than for a single image. I guess to share multiple images via text message, the "slide show" option in Handcent or "messages?" is the only way. Using a Sense based ROM, Calkulin's EViO2 v1.8.
