So i dropped my Vibrant down the stairs today... thus ending it's life in a relatively painful fashion
. it didn't deserve it, it has been a faithful friend for almost a year now! i am not worried about getting it fixed, as i shall be upgrading to the HTC sensation on 07/28/2011
. So why the post? Here's the pickle: Because of the samsung Vibrant's 16G onboard memory, I never bothered changing the default location of my pics to the SD, rather than the internal memory as it is defaulted to. Effect? My 400+ pictures, videos, and other random things are now... well... inaccessible
. I have looked all over samsung's website, and even called them, and I have learned that they do not make a software that can make the PC see the phone as an external hard drive to access the info (which is ridiculously short-sighted in my opinion, given the high level of products... but I digress...). So... It turns on, but only screen lights up with purple and blue lines. it chirps as though I have a new message. When i plug it into the USB, It has the normal alert, but my PC sees nothing
.
Is anyone aware of ANY software that is out there that can allow me to access the internal memory of my phone via USB?
Please, please, please let me know!!!!!
Thanks!
