How can I assign folders on my android gallery tablet

Welcome to Android Forums.
To make a new folder just long press an open spot an a screen and dig thru the options (varies with manufacturer and service provider).
You can also move an app on top of another to create folders to store multiple apps.
If you need to add a folder to the SD card then use a good File Manager (Menu option, or long press, or tap? It will be there depending on the File Manager).
All pictures are auto stored in the DCIM folder on the SD card (Internal or external depending on if you have an "internal SD card" or not).
