Picture issue

Here is an interesting one, ok go to your gallery, and camera pictures, then just scroll through your photos quickly, sometimes when I scroll to a picture, the screen has like different colours on it, all in a split second then the photo appears. I have been trying to get a pattern going, so that I can work out the culprit, but there seems to be no pattern, just random pics but all taken by the SGS2, any other photos I have are ok. Like I say this happens randomly and not always, any one else have this? go try it out, see if you get those colours after switching between photos quickly.

do u mean the background of the thumbnails? on mine i a blurry version of some of the photos u've taken, purely just to make ur gallery look nicer but my photos load instantly, so i wouldnt call it a picture issue

Hi, no its not that, I have uploaded a video to try and show exactly what I mean, its not a big problem but sometimes annoying. I am thinking its maybe when you browse your pictures and stop on one, its usually a little blurry to start then the full focus comes in and instead of the blurryness, I am getting a muddle of colours for a split second, then the photos are there as normal.

I just don't want to leave it and it possibly get worse, then after 28 days it would have to be sent off for repair, rather than be replaced.
If anyone has this, or doesn't have this, could you just check and let me know, then I can decide what to do next, thanks.

I don't have this problem. Can't say what the problem is but doesnt happen on mine. Are your pictures on a memory card at all?

But then I also no longer use the built in gallery, as I have lots of pictures on my phone, and the gallery is far too slow opening up now. Takes between 3 and 20 seconds now just loading up my gallery, so I use Quickpic now, which is so much better

Hope you get it sorted, but I would be tempted to get it replaced if it was me.

No, I have no SD card, the photos are all on the phone memory, I just got off the phone to the tech support, they are going to replace it, thanks for your input though, everyone I have asked so far does not have this issue, even the tech support guy tried it on a collegue's SGS2 but didn't get it, so best to get it replaced.

oh i see, i know wat u mean now. and strangely, i found that problem on OTHER gallery apps suck as quickpik.. where it takes about a second to load in full res. i tried many other gallery apps for some reason, some time back.. and all had this issue EXCEPT the stock gallery app, which im using now. so im surprised to see that u have it on this gallery.. have u tried any others? quickpik is great, i wouldve stuck with it if it didnt have this very problem maybe u'll have better luck with it!

Well the phone is being replaced this week. I will check that out when I get the new phone assuming all is ok.
Edit... quickpic works fine.
