Help Picture problem

Lurker
I hooked up my phone to the computer and I mounted the drive as needed and looked in the DCIM folder where the pictures should be. There are only about 5 pictures in there where I have over 200 on my phone.

Where are the other pictures and how do I access them?

Also, when I hook up my phone I go through the wizard and it says, "Cannot install this hardware". Can I get an in depth solution to fix these problems?

Also to note, I just got this phone a couple days ago as a replacement for my last incredible and so I swapped over the memory card (if that makes any difference).

install quickpic app. go to a picture, long press then choose details. it will tell you the folder path of the pic you chose. try it for several pics and you will at least know if you are looking in the correct folder.

have you (re)installed the drivers?

You could also try pulling out the memory card and plugging it directly into your PC and then browse it.

There's your phone storage and SD card, make sure you're looking in the right place for your pictures. DCIM is the correct folder. My computer -> and it should split into 2 drives listed as 'removable storage'.

The other option is to sort them out into a "Pictures" folder, which can then be organized into sub categories via folders.
