Help Pictures will not save

i took a few pics on my lil girls bday and none saved, i just did a coiple some random shots, they show at first, go back home then into gallery/camera and it says "no pictures or video"

i reset the phone to factory and it still does the same thing.

i powered off, took sd out, put it back in. no results. it will not save any pictures.

why?

factory sd 2gb inside the phone.

Please look under /sdcard/DCIM for media images. If a PC is uncooperative, try Astro, free in the Market.

iv done that too, it says no images or media found

Within /sdcard/dcim there should be a folder called 100MEDIA with your stuff inside that.

Which program said no media or images inside?

Right with in the SD card under 100 media there's no pictures or video

And if you try to take a picture - it won't save any?

Well after I did a factory reset it seems to save now. A random pic I took stayed all day on the phone but all the pics i took at my girls bday were no where to be found before I restored. Don't make any sense. It's like something made it stop saving.
