Pimp my desire

Had my desire for nearly a year now, and sick of the stock stuff, so had a flash of inspiration, and reset the phone to factory settings (after storing everything i needed of course ) So, after ticking in launcherpro, what else should I stick on there now?

I dont know if there is better stuff out there now, but i had the following in the phone previously:

If your really wanting a completely new feel to your phone, root it following SUroot's guide here to root your phone and install Clockwork Mod recovery.

Now do some research into Custom ROMS for the desire, some popular ones are CyanogenMod, MIUI, Oxygen and Redux. Though there are hundreds that you can find. If you do some research and ask about anything you don't know you can completely put a new feel on your phone. I did a few weeks ago and it's like having a completely new phone!

Edit: Forgot to say. You can find out how to flash a Custom ROM by searching the Forum, and asking about anything you don't understand.
