Hi, I own Samsung Galaxy S Advance I9070, which has GingerBread OS. Is PIN-Lock for screen completely foolproof or safe ??

No security method is absolutely 100% fool proof or safe, but if you make the PIN long enough, it will deter most from trying to access your device.

Thank you for the info. But PIN is only of 4 Numeric characters. How to go for long alpha-numeric passwrods(PINs).

All of my devices have an option to set a password as well as a pin. Take a look in Settings, Security (although it might be elsewhere on GB).

You should be able to make your PIN longer than 4 digits too?
