Help "pin" pdf to homescreen?

I have a PDF file that i access a few times a day (reference material) Is there a way to put a shortcut/link/etc to the file on the homescreen? The best I have right now is a shortcut to Acrobat reader on the homescreen, then scroll to the pdf i want from there. Any better option? If it makes a difference, I could convert the PDF to another format (.doc, .jpg, etc...)

Does a long-press work? Just try doing a long-press on the file and see if it moves to the home screen. Just a suggestion.

Sorry could not help you since i haven't worked on the phone yet. As a last suggestion from my part, what happens if you do a long press on the home screen itself? Do you have any option that says copy shortcuts, or customized shortcuts etc. Try that too... cheers
